About the event

The Soul Stroll is an annual Salem Historical Society event for the town.  It is free of charge.  The Historical Society hosts guided tours that lead attendees on a stroll through the historic Salem burying grounds.  They stop at 4-5 grave sites and talk about the person buried there and their tie to Salem.

The SAWC CE&O Committee volunteered to sponsor a refreshment table for the event, which saw 40-50 people last year.  In addition, the Historical Society asked if any member could help improve the event by being "live props."  So we would like to ask for volunteers for:

1. The Salem Women's Club refreshment table.  We need volunteers to help serve Hot chocolate and hand out goodies at our tent.

2.  The Historical Society asked if anyone would be willing to dress in a long dress with a shawl and pretend to knit, sew, or play an instrument.  No talking involved -just a sit or stand or walk as a live prop.

3.  We need people to bake or purchase goodies for the event.

For more information, please contact Deb S. or Laura A.
