To be designated a SAWC Honorary Member, a nomination outlining the member and their accomplishments should be submitted to the Board of Directors for review and vote. Once the nomination is duly confirmed, this member is no longer required to pay annual dues. SAWC GFWC-NH shall also pay the annual dues to GFWC and GFWC-NH for as long as the honorary member remains active in our Club. Initiation: Your membership officially begins upon receipt of your application and dues. We warmly invite you to our initiation ceremony, but participation is not required. Handicapped parking is available at the top of the driveway. Please enter through the ramp-accessible side door. We ask members to RSVP for meetings, which helps us plan them. In addition, we offer lunch at some meetings, which need to be prepaid for. A service project is usually completed at each membership meeting. Spotlight: Each committee is given time during the membership meeting to discuss their accomplishments, invite a guest speaker, hand out donations, etc. Standing Committee: Created by the President for a specific task, project, or event, i.e. Hospitality, Communication and Public Relations, Christmas Cookie Hugs State: When someone refers to The State, they usually mean our state-level organization (GFWC-NH), not the State of New Hampshire. This includes hours spent in committee meetings, tasks from the meeting, and volunteer work tied directly back to SAWC GFWC. Include as many details as possible, including the event's purpose, the date/time of when you need the volunteers, the location, the number of volunteers needed, and contact information. Donation Request Forms To ensure the quickest processing, please complete the form thoroughly and mail them to our PO box along with any other documentation regarding your request.
